The message of Colossians is that God "communicates" with us in a very personal, intimate, and human way in the Person of God's Son. The heart of all religion and all spiritual seeking is unfolded in Colossians. Do we find God or does God find us? Colossians maintains adamantly that God has come to us and that Christ is the full and complete revelation of God and what God is like. God gives God's self and reveals God's self in the person and work of Jesus Christ. This is grace as God works faith in us and seals us in salvation through Christ.
