On Maundy Thursday, it is customary to "strip the altar," which symbolizes the abandonment of Jesus by his disciples and the stripping of Jesus by the soldiers before his crucifixion. It represents the humiliation of Jesus and the consequences of sin as a preparation for the celebration of new life.

At last the Wednesday worship video has been successfully uploaded here, followed by a video that shows how our friends in Tanzania are dealing with the handwashing. Reports are that schools, universities and many businesses are closed there, but worship has not been cancelled; however, worship has now been limited to only 2 hours! :)

The following two videos are only related to Jesus the Good Shepherd because they contain shepherds and sheep. The first is fascinating to see how a shepherd works with his sheep dogs to care for the sheep. The second video of border collie puppies is just intended to be cute. I mean, who can't use a good dose of puppies while dealing with a pandemic?! :)
