Your Personal Stewardship Commitments |

Dear Friends in Jesus:
It is a good time to be the Church of Jesus Christ! At Immanuel this fall we have a story to tell. In our work of Stewardship 2022-2023 our congregation will be centering on “Together into God’s Future.” Over four weeks beginning on October 23-24, and concluding on November 13- 14 we will hear how God leads us forward. St. Paul writes in Colossians 3:17, “And whatever you do in Word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
With a Temple Talk each week, from Immanuel members, we will see how God works through “Joy, Hope, Service and Challenge.” These are the blessings of life in Christ. We may face difficult and painful days but holding on to the cross of Jesus gives our lives meaning. And the opportunities to be of service to God’s people are for all Christians a privilege.
We have been blessed with an Interim Pastor Bre Kinnunen who is helping us grow as a congregation. God is at work in her! And God is at work in you in many ways. This ministry of stewardship begins and ends with gratitude. God is leading us on! We thank God for you. In early November you will receive in the mail an ”Estimate of Giving” form and a “Time and Talent Sheet” which you can complete and return to the Church on Celebration Weekend November 13-14. The Stewardship Committee of our congregation asks you to prayerfully consider how you can increase your financial support and volunteer work. Think about how God has blessed you!
After worship on November 13 you and your family are invited to a Celebration Luncheon at Church where we will praise God for our congregation and our common ministry. Immanuel Lutheran Church is an exciting place to worship God and to live in Christian community!
